Palm Beach travel guide!
Located on the Atlantic Ocean Palm Beach is 1.5 hours from Miami and 2.5 hours from Orlando Palm Beach is the perfect blend of Manhattan and Beverly Hills put together. When you visit Palm Beach you must bring your favorite Lily Pulitzer outfit, tennis outfit, and Tory Burch Miller sandals.
Palm Beach is true sophistication with delicious dining, first-class hotels, and designer shopping. On the off chance that you're not a big shopper, there are plenty of outdoor activities for you to enjoy from going to the beach, bike riding, and exploring what the town has to offer.
Explore the beautiful palm beach architecture and enjoy, but visiting The Breakers is a must on your list of to-dos.
"When the East Coast and West Coast meet, Palm Beach is created."
When I was much younger I didn't really appreciate everything our state had to offer until I got older and really started traveling to different parts of Florida.
My family would go to Miami (Brikell, Coral Gables, Fishers Island), Orlando (Disney World, Winter Park), and Tampa often when I was younger, but it wasn't until in college and in my adult life that I would travel to Naples, Boca Ratton, Jupiter, Fort Meyers, and Sarasota. I can truly say that we live in such a beautiful state, and if you have the opportunity to visit I would explore it. I've even interested in visiting the Everglades, which I've never been to.
If you love being posh and feeling fancy, Palm Beach is the perfect place. There's incredible shopping, dining, and sightseeing. Just driving around Palm Beach proper and seeing its stunning architecture, and manicured landscaping is a fun activity. I hope this guide helps you to explore all that Palm Beach has to offer.
Stay
The Breakers
For an elegant and classic Palm Beach experience, this is where you need to stay. It is known for its “unapologetic luxury, seaside glamour, and world-class service,” and we couldn’t agree more. Henry M. Flagler was the visionary behind making The Breakers a luxurious vacation destination dating back to the 1890s, and the grandiose atmosphere is still going strong here today. If you can swing it, a stay here is a must.
The Colony
For a charming Palm Beach experience, we love The Colony! Located just steps from Worth Avenue and the beach, The Colony is known for its uniquely colorful personality and boutique hotel experience. The pink-hued hotel has been a Palm Beach landmark since 1947 and has hosted everyone from U.S. presidents to European royalty and winter season.
The Brazillian Court
We passed this beauty while we were strolling, and it definitely got that old-world vibe as well. Right in the heart of downtown and minutes from shopping and restaurants, this is a fabulous option if you are looking for luxury with a little personality.
Eau Palm Beach
I saw pictures of it online that looked really fun, and we were very underwhelmed. Or maybe overwhelmed by everything (the smell in the lobby literally knocked us off our feet - so strong) but it's right on the beach, so that's a big plus.
